Movday has moved all thee way into a new level . We want you to dance as much as you think, think as much as you do, do as much as you breathe. Breathing is so important and this week hopefully we’ll all breathe a sigh of relief w/ this mess of an election finally being over. Who care about email’s when Trump insults and assaults females? Anyway ancestors died for thee right to vote even if it’s rigged, it ALWAYS has been. Below I have posted one of thee most powerful video’s and songs I have seen all year, a song called “N*gga Needs” by Compton’s 0wn Boogie (it’s also on this weeks playlist).
This weeks playlit (yes I said playlit not playlist) is something I wanted to create for you to live w/ and to. It starts w/ a burst of live energy of Toro y Moi’s live from Trona album and transitions into thee work of Italian tribal electronic band Clap ! Clap !, revealing yet fun verbal gymnastics of Open Mike Eagle, favorite vibes from TiRon & Ayomari feat. Thundercat, some brand new MATH from QUINCAT,Nas and pre Kim Kanye, some very in and muse inspiring Arima Ederra (who’s“Temporary Fixes” project has a listening event taking place Nov. 17th at Creatington, RSVP @ temporaryfixes@gmail.com for more info.). I want to give special thanks to Vivian Shih for creating this weeks artwork. Keep up with her and check more of her amazing visuals here.
Also peep thee crazy and inspiring bass antics of musician and bass wizard MonoNeon (who I included in this weeks playlit as well) your day just got better right?
