Middle-distance runner Caster Semenya is one of the most prominent track athletes of our time. A two-time Olympic gold medalist and three-time world champion, Semenya has set precedence in the 800m competition overall. Although she just won another title in Doha, two days prior, she was handed a defeat in her case against the IAAF. The Court of Arbitrations for Sports (CAS) rejected Semenya's appeal and now under the new IAAF rules,  Semenya - and other athletes with differences of sexual development (DSD) - must either take medication in order to compete in track events from 400m to the mile, or change to another distance.

Yup, you read that correctly. Caster Semenya has tested for higher levels of testosterone, an act of nature, and therefore must medicate or change events in order to continue competing. At just 28, this South African native has won 30 races in a row and doesn't see an end in sight.

"It's up to God, God has decided my life, God will end my life, God has decided my career, God will end my career. No man, or any other human, can stop me from running."
