I just want to start off this week by thanking you for rocking with us for 26 STRAIGHT weeks! In 26 weeks we haven’t repeated a song, or repeated a theme. We’ve kept it progressive and eclectic while never forgetting the music we consume is as important as the food we digest. This week our goal was to raise the tempo, get your heart rate elevated and to remind you we aren’t afraid of taking it to 140. I mean we start thee playlist w/ We Gonna Make It by Jada(muah), and find ourselves getting into some Crazy Cousinz, KAYTRANADA, Melo-X, some classic SPEAKZ, Jill Scott, pre Yasiin Mos Def and even some YouTube debauchery in the form of Michael Trapson. Laughter is important, never let them kidnap your laughter. Shout out Vivian Shih for once again blessing with this weeks MOVDAY arttwerk.
In weird world politics news Kanye West has officially been traded to ummmm I’m not sure what team, but whatever the Kardashians play for but he ain’t for the people any longer (if you want to know I am talking about and have time for the rabbit hole of a vortex of nonsense then click here).
