Still catching my breath from a weekend full of feelings and Beyonce’s VMA performance. I mean there’s not we can say about Beyonce I mean I walked out the room and had no idea why there was still an Award show after that. This weekend had so much energy, I know some attended FYF, some were at Rhythmalism, I know I saw some of your faces at the LA UNDO- Mag launch sensory experience. Let’s begin a new week on a new wave on #MOVDAY’s 15th instillation we are shooting for the constellations. So much new music my head exploded 12 times. We going deep in thee mix cheffing up into a vegan gumbo situation with some new Moses Sumney, Nia Andrews (Her new brilliant project “From Here” is now out on everything), the endlessly dope Suzi Analogue, the lyrically sharp Vince Staples in collaboration w/ my favorite producer James Blake (there’s even an Andre 3k sample in it smh), the overly dope Dojacat, Hip Hop’s new mascot for all things good Kendrick, some other worldly Mndsgn, we even sprinkle of some classic B-Side DJ Quik. I would listen to this week’s playlist if I didn’t make it, thats how much I like it yo. I have less to say and more for you to feel this week.
