When I was a kid I used to obsess over things. Things that often got lost or broken. I wouldn't get dressed in time for school because I had too many outfits to choose from. I had too much so nothing made me happy. It took me over 20 years to recognize my obsession as unhealthy and make an effort to better it. I decided to adopt a minimal lifestyle. Like any addiction, you make space for something new in exchange for the old habit. I started giving clothes away and collecting data on my hard drives to counter. Hoarding photos and mood board images like an idiot. Every year has been a new experiment in getting rid of things but at the same time making the right exchange for things that matter.
