SINCERELY TOMMY
There on the corner of Thompson and Monroe resides Sincerely, Tommy, a welcoming open space with modernist accent furniture and quirk. Lots of quirk. Inside its minimalist space houses an eclectic mix of art, furniture, and clothing sourced from both international and local, Brooklyn-based designers. Serving up more than just chic accoutrement, a marble counter at the front serves local brews to visitors connected to the store's Wi-Fi. In the back, racks of clothes mesmerize. An off the shoulder top with exaggerated long sleeves and a gold cuff link detail, calls my attention. I find a distressed cotton t-shirt attached to a towel skirt with what appears to be a soap stain as it's embroidered design (Sophia Andes Gascon, $276) — before it, I thought I saw everything. Touchability. Sensibility. Breathability. And in colors and hues that resemble a splash of a Pantone color book — Sincerely, Tommy has it.
Swoon, Money spent.
