How do artists in our community UNDO and break the cycle of the ordinary?

As an illustrator and UNDO Contributor, I often reflect on personal interests and hobbies in my artistic personal work. For this rendition of my work, I wanted to focus on female skaters in the 1970s. It’s important to shine light on the badass women who’ve been grinding rails before the industry even had eyes on women.

As a Los Angeles native, I have always been surrounded and intrigued by the skateboarding lifestyle. Recently, I picked up skateboarding to encourage herself to learn a fun, new skill. It also ensures that I grasp new landscapes and neighborhoods surrounding me.

With this fusion of energy skateboarding has given me, along with my illustration expertise, I present She Skaters of the 1970s.
